Emmanuel College sits on 17 acres at 400 the Fenway, where it has been at home since it was founded in 1919.

From here, the city's institutions of education, science, medicine, culture, and business aren't just neighbors — they're part of what Emmanuel is. We see that as an opportunity: to connect and give back, to expand our students' experiences, and to transform the world around us.

We believe education helps create a just and better world. Our passion for teaching and learning, combined with our commitment to social justice and service, inspires us to collaborate with organizations throughout the Greater Boston area. Through these centers, partnerships and institutes, Emmanuel College continues to develop relationships in the community that add value to and leave an impact on our neighborhood.

Whatever a student comes here to build — whether it's in a lab, a classroom, a courtroom, a gallery, a boardroom — this neighborhood has a place for it. Five schools, five different starting points, all tapping into a city that is constantly in motion.

Emmanuel College is a 17-acre campus at 400 The Fenway, in the middle of Boston's Fenway neighborhood — surrounded by institutions in education, science, medicine, culture, and business.

The Longwood Medical and Academic Area (LMA) is one of the most concentrated hospital, research, and academic hubs in the country, minutes from Emmanuel's campus. Emmanuel has been part of the LMA for more than a century, and some of the college's partnerships — like the Merck Research Laboratories facility housed on Emmanuel's own campus — connect students directly to the fabric of the LMA.
