At Emmanuel College, we are not just IN Boston, we are OF Boston.

Each and every day, while our community takes advantage of all that our location affords us, our students, faculty and staff engage with our Fenway neighborhood year-round. Through volunteer service, small-business partnerships, and more, students don't just watch this happen — they're making a difference one day at a time.

Emmanuel students get involved through direct, hands-on partnerships built into the college itself. Through the Emmanuel Business Collaborative, business students act as consultants to real local companies, working through an actual challenge the partner organization is facing rather than a hypothetical case study. Mission & Ministry connects students to service opportunities across Boston, and education students work directly with Boston-area K-12 schools through the Carolyn A. Lynch Institute, among other partnerships. And service learning brings community work directly into coursework — Spanish students work with Boston-area nonprofits and schools, psychology students engage with local women and teens on issues like body image and gender roles, and education students work with children and older adults as part of their coursework.

Emmanuel College's Memberships & Affiliations page lists the organizations and networks the college belongs to across Boston, alongside the community-impact efforts described here.
