Beyond the classroom, Emmanuel's location puts an entire city within reach. The Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum are both a walk from campus, and Fenway Park sits just outside the gates alongside MGM Music Hall and the House of Blues, two of Boston's biggest concert venues. The Back Bay Fens — part of Boston's historic Emerald Necklace park system — gives students real green space without leaving the neighborhood, and the surrounding Fenway area is packed with restaurants and cafes. None of it requires a special trip — it's what's already outside the door.

Yes. Emmanuel is one of five schools in the Colleges of the Fenway consortium, alongside MassArt, MCPHS University, Simmons University, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. The five schools share academic and social resources across their shared Boston neighborhood allowing Emmanuel students access to events and cross-registration for courses.

Students in Boston's Fenway neighborhood are within walking distance of Fenway Park, the Museum of Fine Arts, and four other college campuses, with the MBTA connecting it to the rest of the city. No — car-free is the norm. Emmanuel's Fenway campus is built for walking and the MBTA: the T connects campus to downtown Boston and beyond. Between walkable internship sites, four neighboring Colleges of the Fenway campuses, and citywide transit, most students get everywhere they need to go without owning a car.

Most live on campus. 85% of Emmanuel's incoming Class of 2029 lived in campus housing during their first year, spread across five residence halls, with on-campus housing available all four years. That means first-year students land inside Boston's Fenway neighborhood from day one — walking distance to class, the T, and the rest of the city — rather than commuting in from off-campus housing elsewhere in the metro area.

Yes — 100% of Emmanuel students complete an internship before graduation, and most of those internships happen right in Boston: 83% are based in the city, at places ranging from hospitals and research labs in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area to sports organizations, nonprofits, and startups across the city. That internship requirement is built into the Emmanuel experience, not something students have to arrange entirely on their own.
