What is your favorite thing about Emmanuel College?
I have two favorites. First, I love that Emmanuel College is committed to making students not only career ready through the mentorship of faculty and experiential learning opportunities, but life ready teaching skills and providing experiences that students will take with them throughout their lives.
Second is that the Emmanuel experience for students can be as small as they want or as large as they want. Our location in the heart of Boston allows for that easily.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?
As a lifelong Boston sports fan, I love to attend games, especially Red Sox games. But I’m also a huge fan of museums and live music/concerts/theater. There are so many options for all of those in Boston, it’s amazing.
What is the one piece of advice you would give prospective students about the college process?
Think about what is important to you for your college experience outside of what major you are choosing. What experiences and environment are you looking for outside of the classroom as well. So much of having a complete college experience takes place in co-curriculum opportunities.
What is the most exciting aspect of working in Admissions?
Helping a student and family navigate their way through the entire college search and decision process. This includes helping relieve the anxiety that many students and families feel while deciding on where to continue a student’s education.
