The 2028 class officers cordially invite you to the

Sophomore Pinning Ceremony on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

Important information

This event is the yearly sophomore class tradition here at Emmanuel College, recognizing the selection of a major field of study. To commemorate this milestone, each member of the class will be presented with a pin of the Emmanuel College seal by members of the College's faculty.

The ceremony will start at 1:00 p.m. in the Gymnasium, located on the second floor of the Jean Yawkey Center, with reception to follow on the second floor of the JYC.

Each student is allowed 4 guests in the Gymnasium.

Once you have registered to attend, you will receive additional communication leading up to the event via email.

RSVP by March 30.

Ways to celebrate your student

Flowers will be available for sale. Following your RSVP, you will be sent more information regarding flower purchases. If you plan on bringing a balloon to celebrate this day, we request that you choose mylar balloons instead of latex to respect any allergies that may be present.

Many families choose to celebrate this milestone in a student’s college career by taking their student out to lunch at a local restaurant. If you wish to stay on campus and eat in the dining hall, please note Saturday hours: Continental Breakfast 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Brunch 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and Dinner 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Thank you for your continued support of your student’s success at Emmanuel College. We look forward to seeing you in April!
