Emmanuel College is pleased to have signed on as a member of the Massachusetts Guarantee. The Massachusetts Transfer Guarantee is a transfer partnership between the Massachusetts Association of Community Colleges and participating four-year colleges and universities. Eligible Massachusetts Community College graduates are able to transfer seamlessly - admission guaranteed!
The Massachusetts Guarantee ensures acceptance, to Emmanuel College and other participating institutions, for students who hold an associate degree from a Massachusetts community college, who have met a minimum GPA requirement of 2.50. Benefits of the Massachusetts Guarantee at Emmanuel College Include:
- No application fee.
- No admission essay requirement.
- Guaranteed admission with a 2.500 GPA to all Emmanuel College traditional Arts and Sciences majors, with the exception of Nursing. Academic programs may be viewed here: Academic Schools | Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts.
- Guaranteed block transfer of all associate degree credits you have earned with grades of C or better.
- Waiver of General Education Curriculum with exception of one Religious Inquiry course if not already completed at the community college.
- Automatic junior class standing when you enroll at Emmanuel College for purposes of registration and housing.

You may submit the Common Application online or by mail. Students applying via the Guarantee Program will have the application fee waived. Associate-to-Master's Pathway partnership
Emmanuel College also offers the Associate-to-Master's Pathway, an accelerated route to a Master of Education (M.Ed.) that offers a seamless transfer process and financial incentives for eligible students from partner community colleges.
Transfer students can complete a Bachelor’s in Educational Studies in just two years, enter Emmanuel’s Graduate School Early Entry Program - taking two graduate-level courses at no additional cost while still undergraduates, and finish their M.Ed. and pursue elementary licensure within just one year of completing their bachelor’s degree.
