The Emmanuel College Student Emergency Fund provides limited, short-term financial assistance to currently enrolled students who are experiencing unexpected and urgent financial hardship.
Funded through generous donations, this resource supports students facing challenges such as:
- Basic needs (e.g., food, housing, transportation)
- Temporary financial hardships due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
- Unexpected one-time expenses, such as textbooks, course materials, or media access fees
How to Apply
Students in need may apply by submitting a brief, confidential application. Funding decisions are based on financial need, especially for students who do not have access to other resources. Request Emergency Funding

Shelves are stocked regularly with non-perishable food and hygiene products in an effort to ensure that all students have access to items that fulfil their basic needs. Students are encouraged to take what they need but also leave what they can to help support the community. Shelves are located in the St. Ann Hall First Floor Kitchen, Loretto Hall Ground Floor Kitchen, St. Joseph Hall First Floor, St. Julie Hall Lobby, NDC Main Kitchen, Commuter Center and the Center for Community Engagement.
