Liz oversees the admissions counseling team and undergraduate recruitment strategy. Liz also works with U.S. domestic transfer students with last names that begin with N-Z and first-year students from the Metrowest Massachusetts area (Stoneham/Lexington/Waltham/Milton).
What is your favorite thing about Emmanuel College?
As an alum I know firsthand the value that Emmanuel faculty and staff bring to the student experience. Emmanuel has always been on the forefront of bringing professional practitioners into the classroom to teach students real-world applicable skills and connect students to professional networks for internships or future job opportunities.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?
Explore all of the unique neighborhoods! Boston is a very walkable city. Whether you’re hearing cheers from outside Fenway Park, heading to the SoWa open market, or spending an afternoon getting lost in the North End, there is always something to see.
What is the one piece of advice you would give prospective students about the college process?
Trust your gut. Regardless if you apply to 10 schools or 2 schools, do your homework and chat with students who live the experience to see if the campus community and academic preparation are aligned with your goals. You have to love the campus on sunny days and snowy ones too.
What is the most exciting aspect of working in Admissions?
Helping to support and counsel families through each step of their admissions process as they explore their college opportunities and find the right pathway for their interests.
