Sarah visits and reads applications for first-year students from California, parts of Connecticut (Middlesex/New Haven/New London/Windham counties), New Jersey, parts of New York (Upstate & Western regions, Albany/Hudson counties), Puerto Rico, and Rhode Island. Sarah also reviews applications for students from Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming
What is your favorite thing about Emmanuel College?
My favorite thing about Emmanuel is the small school feels in the heart of a big city. I love that the campus is so walkable and easy to navigate, yet we're surrounded by everything Boston has to offer.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?
In the summer, I love walking around Castle Island and spending time by the water. I also enjoy visiting Newbury Street it's the perfect spot to explore, shop, and grab a coffee with friends.
What is the one piece of advice you would give prospective students about the college process?
Come into the process with an open mind. Don’t feel like you need to be tied to one specific path right away college is a time to explore different interests, both academically and socially, and discover what truly excites you.
What is the most exciting aspect of working in Admissions?
The most exciting part of working in Admissions is getting to connect with students and help them find a place where they can thrive. It’s such a privilege to be part of their journey and to help them picture their future at Emmanuel.
