Elizabeth visits and reads applications for first year students from Maine, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania. Elizabeth also reviews applications for Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Utah, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
What is your favorite thing about Emmanuel College?
My favorite thing about Emmanuel College is the people! Everyone is incredibly kind and supportive, creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and at home.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?
Red Sox games! I grew as a huge Sox fan and go to as many games as possible throughout the season. I also never pass up an opportunity to catch a Celtics or Bruins home game at TD Garden!
What is the one piece of advice you would give prospective students about the college process?
One piece of advice I would give to prospective students is to be yourself. The best way to find a school that truly fits you is to be honest in who you are and what you are looking for in a college experience. When you are authentic, you will find yourself in a place where you are comfortable, supported, and have the ability to thrive.
What is the most exciting aspect of working in Admissions?
The most exciting aspect of working in Admissions is being able to travel and meet different people. Visiting schools, exploring new places, and connecting with students makes every day different and exciting. It is rewarding to be an ambassador for Emmanuel College while helping students find a place they feel like they belong.
