Emmanuel students that live on campus can now register a gaming console, smart TV, or streaming device at mydevices.emmanuel.edu. Please log in with your EC Credentials. After registering your device, you will be able to connect it to ECWireless. The Console Request form is for students living on the Emmanuel campus that do not have EC credentials, such as MCPHS students. If you do not have EC credentials and want to register a device, you can fill out the Console Request Form below, and your device will be filtered within 1-3 business days. Once activated, it will be allowed on the ECWireless network.
- Turn on your console with no disc in the tray.
- When the user interface appears, select Settings.
- On the Settings screen, select Network.
- When the Network screen appears, the MAC address information will be located on the right side of the screen. You will need to select wired/ wireless depending on how you are connecting to the campus network.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
- On the Main Menu, scroll to the Settings tab.
- Scroll down and select Network.
- Scroll and select View Connection Status.
- On this new screen, towards the bottom, the MAC address is listed for both Wi-fi and Ethernet.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
- On the Wii U Main Menu, select System Settings.
- Select Internet.
- Select View MAC Address.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
- Go to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard.
- Select Network Settings.
- Select Edit Settings.
- Select Additional Settings.
- Select Advanced Settings.
- Select Wireless Information. Your MAC address will be listed on this screen.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
- Turn on your console.
- On the Main Menu, select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select System Information.
- Your MAC address will then be displayed on the screen.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
- From the Wii Channel Menu, select Wii Settings (the round button in the bottom-left of the screen with Wii on it).
- Click the right directional navigation arrow.
- Select Internet.
- Select Console Settings.
- The MAC address of the Wii console is displayed on the first line.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
- Turn on your console.
- Press the eject button and remove any DVD/Game discs from the console. If a DVD/Game disc is in the console, the system menu will not load. Once there are no discs in the console, press the reset button.
- When the system menu loads, use the directional buttons to select Version Information and then press the X button. When the Version Information screen appears, you will see a MAC Address option, please write this information down as it is displayed. If no value is displayed, use the directional buttons to select the MAC Address option and then press the Triangle button. Write the MAC Address information down as it is displayed.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
- Due to the large number of internet enabled TVs, please refer to your TV's manual, the manufacturers website and/or search Google for instructions on how to locate your brand/model's MAC address.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
- Due to the large number of video streaming devices, please refer to your device's manual, the manufacturers website and/or search Google for instructions on how to locate your brand/model's MAC address.
- Once you have the MAC address, you may proceed to the game console registration page and register your console. Once the console registration is complete, allow 24 hours then you should be able to successfully connect your game console to the network.
