All full-time faculty and staff are provided with a dedicated phone number and a Cisco 8841 desk phone, configured per their request.

Local and limited long-distance calling are available as basic telephone features. When calling within Emmanuel, complete caller ID information is available. Cisco 8841 desk phones also support dial-out conference calling.

All individuals and departments with phone numbers assigned to them have access to a dedicated voicemail box, which is protected by a PIN. These voicemail boxes, powered by Cisco Unity, can be accessed through the Visual Voicemail interface on desk phones or by dialing a dedicated voicemail line.

For assistance resetting your voicemail PIN, contact the IT Helpdesk from your desk phone.

All Emmanuel College students, staff, and faculty have licensed Zoom and Microsoft Teams accounts. Using these applications, you can chat via text, voice, and video call with anybody who also has these accounts.

Desk phone users can request licenses for Cisco Jabber, a desktop application that allows you to use your desk phone through your computer, by contacting the IT Helpdesk.
