The first step on your road to Commencement

Embarking on your college journey is like starting a marathon; a strong finish relies on a powerful start. At Emmanuel, we understand the importance of laying a robust foundation for your academic journey, setting the stage for four years—and beyond—of triumphs and growth.

Our new student programs are more than just an introduction to Emmanuel College – they are a collaborative partnership. We're here to guide you towards academic excellence, seamless community integration, and holistic wellbeing and success.

Once you’ve been admitted, your pathway to success begins with a series of engaging opportunities that will connect you with the vibrant Emmanuel community.

Here's what's in store:

My name is Tori, and I am a double major in Elementary Education and Liberal Studies. Outside of the classroom I serve as a Radical Hope Facilitator for EmmanuWell Programs and I am the Orientation Communication Coordinator.

Tori's Glimpse into the Schedule

Orientation check in will open at 9:00am on Day 1 and finish at 3:45pm on Day 2.

During your time on campus you can expect to connect with departments from across campus with a combination of information sessions, group activities, and one-on-one time with an Academic Advisor.

Some highlights of our program include:

  • Life at 400 The Fenway with Residence Life and Commuter Engagement,
  • Be a Saint! with Athletics and Mission & Ministry,
  • EmmanuWell and Academic Support Resources,
  • and the chance to experience student involvement with our evening activity – EC Fest!

My pro-tip is to come prepared to step out of your comfort zone! Orientation is a great way to start building new friendships with your future classmates and learn about all you can look forward to in your first year. Wearing comfortable shoes is a good idea, too!

My name is Jahan! I am a student-athlete with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education here at Emmanuel. I also serve as the Student Government Association President for the Class of 2027.

Jahan's Tips: What to Bring
