Once you’ve been admitted, your pathway to success begins with a series of engaging opportunities that will connect you with the vibrant Emmanuel community.
Here's what's in store:
June Orientation Program: Kick off your Emmanuel experience with a comprehensive two-day overnight program at our home at 400 The Fenway. This intentionally crafted program aims to seamlessly guide you into the world of college-level living and learning. Designed for our newest Saints (and their supporters), it provides a unique learning experience with opportunities to connect with fellow students, dedicated staff, and esteemed faculty. These connections foster the building of strong relationships within our community.
Attending the June Orientation allows you the opportunity to:
- Connect with campus support services and resources and increase your college knowledge
- Explore your academic plan with course registration and goal-setting conversations
- Engage and build relationships with peers and learn about involvement opportunities
- Discover what Emmanuel and the Fenway have to offer support to your wellbeing and success

My name is Tori, and I am a double major in Elementary Education and Liberal Studies. Outside of the classroom I serve as a Radical Hope Facilitator for EmmanuWell Programs and I am the Orientation Communication Coordinator.
Tori's Glimpse into the Schedule
Orientation check in will open at 9:00am on Day 1 and finish at 3:45pm on Day 2.
During your time on campus you can expect to connect with departments from across campus with a combination of information sessions, group activities, and one-on-one time with an Academic Advisor.
Some highlights of our program include:
- Life at 400 The Fenway with Residence Life and Commuter Engagement,
- Be a Saint! with Athletics and Mission & Ministry,
- EmmanuWell and Academic Support Resources,
- and the chance to experience student involvement with our evening activity – EC Fest!
My pro-tip is to come prepared to step out of your comfort zone! Orientation is a great way to start building new friendships with your future classmates and learn about all you can look forward to in your first year. Wearing comfortable shoes is a good idea, too!

My name is Jahan! I am a student-athlete with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education here at Emmanuel. I also serve as the Student Government Association President for the Class of 2027.
Jahan's Tips: What to Bring
New Student Orientation is a two-day overnight program where you will have the opportunity to experience a night in St. Joseph Residence Hall. Don’t forget to pack all of your essentials that you need for your night away!
- Comfortable shoes
- Sweatshirt (it can get cold in the evening)
- Twin XL sheets and blanket (or a sleeping bag)
- Pillow
- Fan
- Phone charger
- Other sleepover essentials: toiletries, bath towel, shower shoes, and any personal medication

Hi everyone, I’m Jess and I am a rising senior in the Nursing program. Balancing my academics and my nursing clinicals in the city of Boston, I am also the Secretary for one of Emmanuel’s many student organizations through the Office of Student Involvement – The Swift Society.
