I teach courses regarding photographic media and foundation studio art. In addition to traditional analog and digital courses, I have developed the core curriculum of Emmanuel's photography minor program. My teaching and personal creative works engage issues of social justice throughout the history and practice of photographic imaging. My courses support students in developing the skills to self-author critical, content driven projects in the context of a media-stormed culture.

I am the co-founder and American director of an academic exchange program for art majors and minors with the the Bauhaus University in historic Weimar, Germany. This exchange program provides two students per year with an opportunity to study within a dynamic, arts-concentrated international environ for an extended semester in Central Europe. I am also the acting faculty advisor for Emmanuel's Photography Club.

What I Love About Emmanuel:

Located in New England's cultural capital, Emmanuel College offers its students access to an academically and culturally rich City. Opportunities abound. With its small campus and class sizes, students dwell within an environment that promotes strong connections between the students, their peers and instructors alike.
