I find any biology that applies to the human body interesting. My favorite thing to teach would be courses and topics within courses where we get to talk about diseases, and the deviations from normal anatomy and physiology. I enjoy seeing the curiosity and the awe in students when they start understanding what happens to the body when it is not at its optimum normal.

I once won an on-the-spot art contest at an anatomy and physiology national conference!

What I Love About Emmanuel:

An opportunity to grow professionally as a teacher and a mentor, and personally as a human being. With new discoveries in the field of biology, and the face of the student population continually changing, a strong collaboration with other biology and education experts will help will me educate and accommodate the evolving student body. As we encourage our students to be life-long learners, we as well, must continue to be.
