Emmanuel women’s basketball player Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda ’20 earned accolades from D3Hoops.com, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) for her performance during the Saints’ 2019-2020 season.
Ramirez-Tejeda was named a D3hoops.com All-American for her performance on the court during the 2019-20 NCAA Division III women's basketball season – one of seven students nationally to receive both D3hoops and CoSIDA All-American honors this season. She was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team and the D3Hoops.com Northeast All-Region team, while receiving honorable mention from the WBCA Division III Coaches’ All-America team. She became the Saints’ first-ever CoSIDA Academic All-American last season and is one of only two students nationally to repeat as an Academic All-American in NCAA Division III Women's Basketball this season.
During her senior season, Ramirez-Tejeda moved into third overall at Emmanuel in career points and second overall in rebounds. Her 56-career double-doubles rank first overall in the division for the season, sixth all-time for players who have only played three seasons, and 31st all-time among NCAA Division III women’s basketball players. She was also named the 2020 GNAC Player of the Year in February.
