Presidential Search Update from Search Committee Co-Chairs

Dear Members of the Emmanuel College Community,

We continue to make significant strides in our nationwide search for Emmanuel’s next President. I would like to provide a brief update on recent developments.

I am pleased to report that the public announcement of our search for a successor to Sister Janet Eisner, SNDdeN, prompted a strong response, resulting in an exceptionally talented and diverse candidate pool. Following careful review and consideration of all applicants and their submissions, the Presidential Search Committee has identified a set of semifinalists and will begin a round of interviews with this group soon.

The task of narrowing such an outstanding field of candidates was not easy, and I am grateful to the members of the Presidential Search Committee for the time, energy and thoughtful discernment they continue to devote to this important initiative.

I look forward to keeping the College community updated as the search process continues to unfold.
