Focusing on the needs and curiosities of both prospective and current students, Emmanuel College recently launched "Insights," a collaborative, College-wide blog in which members of Emmanuel’s administration, faculty and staff share their authentic viewpoints, perspectives, thought leadership and examples of scholarly work.

Insights provides the College an opportunity to showcase a broad range of voices and allows readers the chance to seek out, learn from and make connections with the greater Emmanuel community.

For prospective students, some of whom may be in the early information-gathering phase of their college search, the channel aims to provide a helpful outlet to their questions about the college experience. From timely thought leadership from faculty and questions about what students will learn in specific areas of study to tips and tricks for navigating the college search, Insights will leverage the vast expertise of the community. For current students, especially those just beginning their journeys, content will help to connect them with the resources at their fingertips on a college campus.

"Today's generation of students are adept researchers who crave personal and authentic connections," said Director of Marketing Bryan Mahoney. "One of the hallmarks of Emmanuel is its vibrant community of faculty and staff who are dedicated to assisting students in all aspects of their college journeys. Insights allows us to share these valuable resources to a wider audience and introduce them, individually, as examples of what makes Emmanuel such a special place."

All Emmanuel College administrators, faculty and staff are welcome to join this collaborative effort.

"The fact that so many Emmanuel faculty and staff have already reached out to us to share their enthusiasm for and willingness to contribute to this new venture speaks volumes about this community and the potential of this new communication channel," said Mahoney. "We're excited to see where they will take it and how students will respond to it."
