I decided to study chemistry when I was in 8th grade! My science teacher assigned a project to make a presentation on one of the elements on the periodic table. I've loved chemistry ever since!

For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher. When I became a graduate teaching assistant, it really solidified for me that I wanted to teach. There's something about interacting with students and passing along knowledge to them that is inspiring to me. I thoroughly enjoy seeing students absorb chemistry concepts and help other students through topics they may be struggling with.

Outside of chemistry and teaching, I am an avid crocheter. I love to make hats, blankets, and stuffed animals! I'm also a huge Grey's Anatomy and Hamilton fan!
