Emmanuel College is home to students from 38 countries and welcomes applicants from around the globe.

At Emmanuel, international students include non-U.S. citizens and non-permanent residents. While need-based aid is not available to international students, a number of merit scholarships are awarded each year. Learn about advanced standing credit, what we require for international student admission and what we require to start the F-1 visa process below.

The requirements for international applicants include:

Application Form
You may submit the Common Application online or by mail. If you would like an application mailed to you, please contact the Office of Admissions. There is a $60 application fee to submit a paper application; the fee is waived if you apply online.

Official Secondary School Transcript
Official transcripts are required from each secondary school attended, and you must submit your first marking period grades as soon as they become available. Your secondary school administrator may submit your current high school transcript by mail or through the Common Application website. Transcripts not in English must be translated into English by a certified translator. Official, final secondary school transcripts with proof of graduation must be received before enrolling at Emmanuel. Secondary school transcripts must include all courses taken and grades received. National examination results should be included, but will not be considered an official transcript alone.

Official College Transcripts (transfer applicants only)
If you are applying as a transfer student, we require official transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended, including grades from the most recent semester. All transcripts not in English must be translated into English by a certified translator. In addition, transcripts from institutions outside of the United States must be reviewed by an official credential evaluator. It is highly recommended, but not required, to have transcripts reviewed by an official credential evaluator. Please see the following links for official credential evaluators:

Course Descriptions (transfer applicants only)
Transfer applicants must submit catalog descriptions for each of your completed and in-progress courses to receive a transfer credit evaluation.

You may complete an essay with your Common Application.

Two Letters of Recommendation
Your recommendations should come from your school's college counselor and an academic teacher of your choosing. If your school does not have a college counselor, please request a letter from your advisor or school principal. All recommendations must be written in English or translated into English by a certified translator.

Standardized Test Scores (Optional)
Applicants for admission are not required to submit standardized test scores (SAT and ACT).
