Emmanuel works with home-schooled students from across the country to assist them in the application process.
All home-schooled applicants are required to complete the Common Application and essay to be considered for admission. In addition the following items are required:
Official educational records (if participating in a homeschool program). Students must submit a list of secondary-level courses completed including detailed descriptions and documents. If students have completed any coursework at a traditional high school or college, please submit these transcripts with your application.
Standardized test scores (optional). Test scores must be submitted directly from the testing center. Emmanuel’s school code is 3368 for those submitting scores.
A letter of recommendation (recommendation cannot be from a relative). As these letters are taken into consideration as part of the overall application, the letter could be written by a home school program coordinator or a teacher if a student has taken traditional high school or college courses.
Personal Interview. These casual one-on-one meetings with an admission counselor allow us to learn more about a student’s homeschool experience, academic goals and co-curricular involvements. To schedule your interview click here.
