Explore How Economic Theory Drives Real-World Public Policy

At Emmanuel, the economic policy concentration connects your interest in equity, strategy and public good with the practical tools to influence real-world outcomes. You’ll study how economic decisions impact healthcare access, environmental sustainability and urban development, and how economists evaluate those policies through the lenses of cost, efficiency and justice.

Boston’s public agencies, healthcare institutions and nonprofit networks provide a dynamic environment for applied learning and policy impact. Whether you're analyzing the economic cost of climate change or exploring how tax structures shape opportunity in cities, you’ll graduate ready to lead conversations that matter, with data, clarity and purpose.
