Each credential documents achievement of a specific laboratory competency assessed against established performance standards.

Learners earning CERTI: Laboratory credentials complete training in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area, one of the world's leading centers for biomedical research, biotechnology, and healthcare innovation.
Laboratory training occurs in Emmanuel's CERTI Suite, a dedicated training environment designed to support competency development, practice, and assessment using equipment and techniques commonly encountered in professional laboratory settings. Established through support from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC), the CERTI Suite reflects Emmanuel's commitment to preparing learners for careers in biotechnology, healthcare, and scientific research.
