Launching Fall 2026 through the School of Science & Health, CERTI: Laboratory is the first offering within Emmanuel College's growing portfolio of CERTI microcredentials.

Each credential documents achievement of a specific laboratory competency assessed against established performance standards.

Located in the heart of Boston's Longwood Medical and Academic Area, learners develop competencies alongside one of the world's leading biomedical ecosystems, including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital, and Harvard Medical School.

Learners earning CERTI: Laboratory credentials complete training in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area, one of the world's leading centers for biomedical research, biotechnology, and healthcare innovation.

Laboratory training occurs in Emmanuel's CERTI Suite, a dedicated training environment designed to support competency development, practice, and assessment using equipment and techniques commonly encountered in professional laboratory settings. Established through support from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC), the CERTI Suite reflects Emmanuel's commitment to preparing learners for careers in biotechnology, healthcare, and scientific research.
