Honoring the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur
Founders’ Week is an annual celebration at Emmanuel honoring the founding of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur by St. Julie Billiart in 1804 and the founding of Emmanuel College by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in 1919. This week-long series of events includes a Founders’ Week Liturgy, engaging lectures, and reflection-based activities for the community to share in the mission of St. Julie and the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
