Education & Social Justice

Education and social justice are integral to the Mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and Emmanuel College.

Mission and Ministry offers opportunities to promote awareness and engage in conversation around issues of social justice and encourage reflection on how social justice shapes students spiritually.

How to get involved:

Looking for a way to explore social justice? Emmanuel offers a variety of opportunities for conversation and education around issues of social justice, as well as opportunities to put social justice into action. See what's happening on our events calendar, follow us on Instagram or contact us at missionandministry [at] emmanuel.edu (missionandministry[at]emmanuel[dot]edu).

One of the most important things I learned during my time at Emmanuel is the concept of social justice. It is the idea that everyone deserves the necessities of life and that, as someone who’s fortunate to have those things and more, I have a responsibility to help others.
