The goal of the live case study conducted with Hillside Harvest was to develop new engaging digital marketing campaigns for the local start-up company.

Students within Emmanuel’s “Strategic Management” capstone class were divided into five teams to help develop new strategies for the organization to deploy.

Hearing directly from Hillside Harvest founder Kamaal Jarrett, who shared details about his individual entrepreneur journey and what inspired him to develop his company, the students were able to develop custom proposals for new digital marketing strategies that emphasized his unique story in addition to leveraging his relationship as the official Hot Sauce of the Boston Red Sox. Students also developed marketing strategies based on their competitive research of the industry.

As a result of the live case study, Hill Harvest incorporated a number of the campaign ideas into its social media content strategy.
