Passwords necessary for securing user accounts
Passwords protect and limit access to both personal data and to Emmanuel's business data and system resources. Password authentication is required for all user accounts at Emmanuel.
Faculty, staff and students can change their Emmanuel College account password by using the following link:
An Emmanuel account to access all required services.
All members of the Emmanuel College community possess a Microsoft Active Directory account to access all required services. Microsoft's Active Directory is a centralized directory service that enables Information Technology to plan and automate network management, shared data and other distributed resources. It also provides measures for securing shared permissions and access across all major systems.
Faculty, students, and staff use their accounts daily to access systems such as the MySaints Portal, Office 365 (E-mail, SharePoint/OneDrive), EC Learn, EC Print and Wireless Internet using single sign-on authentication.
Two-Factor Authentication.*
All Emmanuel College faculty, students and staff are required to enroll in our two-factor authentication service, Duo, to access Emmanuel College services. Duo requires secondary authentication after logging into Emmanuel College services via phone call, text, push, or a FOB key, to verify the identity of the user.
In the case of a lost phone, new phone, or change of phone number, helpdesk [at] emmanuel.edu (users must contact the Emmanuel College IT Helpdesk) to verify their identity and re-enroll in the service.
