Analytical and E-Commerce Expertise Takes Levy '14 to Wayfair, Global Premier Soccer, Reebok

At Emmanuel, Juan Sebastian Levy '14 prepared to succeed in a global society, experience that has taken him to Wayfair's offices in Berlin and back to Reebok's international headquarters in Boston.

A pivotal semester abroad at the Berlin School of Economics and Law solidified management major Juan Sebastian Levy's aspirations to work in Germany following graduation. Back at Emmanuel, he developed the business, language and team-building skills needed to thrive in international commerce through his coursework, an internship, and then a part-time job as a business development and corporate partnerships assistant with the non-profit Good Sports, Inc. For nearly four years, Juan Sebastian employed his analytical expertise to managing account data for more than 50 worldwide suppliers as a senior merchandising manager at the Berlin-based office of Wayfair.

I learned the skillsets necessary to shapeshift, adapt to change and be a team player..and I was never one to shy away from a challenge and put myself in unknown waters.

After returning stateside, Juan Sebastian spent some time as the Massachusetts marketing manager for Global Premier Soccer. He is currently the associate manager of U.S. e-commerce master data at Reebok's headquarters in Boston's Innovation District. There, he is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of all product data, and he works closely with site merchandising, platforms & operations and buying teams to ensure products have accurate information for Reebok.com customers.
