Health Services Staff

Health Services is staffed by nurse practitioners and the medical director:

Registered Nurse

Nurse practitioners (NPs) are registered nurses with advanced training and a master's degree. Health Services NPs are board certified, credentialed and licensed by the state of MA. The NPs work independently and are able to assess medical problems, prescribe medications, treat ambulatory conditions and order appropriate tests. The NPs serve as the primary providers for the students.

The medical director, who is board certified in internal medicine, is responsible for the oversight of medical concerns and is available as a consultant regarding complex medical issues.

Health Services is located on campus on the second floor of the Jean Yawkey Center.

Hours

Health Services is open when classes are in session. During the academic year, Health Services is open Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We are closed on weekends, holidays, school vacations and the summer months.
