Building Bridges: E.S.O.L. Tutoring

Building Bridges: E.S.O.L Tutoring offers an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to provide one-on-one tutoring to members of our community who work in food services and custodial staff. Not only does it offer concrete skills for the ESOL students and great experience for the tutors, but it also builds relationships that bridge differences and creates a stronger Emmanuel College community. It is social justice and education at work.

Building Bridges: E.S.O.L. Tutoring is so rewarding. It may seem daunting, but for your student to get an hour of one-on-one tutoring and exposure to the English language is powerful, and they definitely appreciate it.” -ESOL Tutor
