Music

Music Ministry plays an essential role in the spiritual life at Emmanuel College.

Celebrating a diversity of music traditions, we use music to awaken, to nourish and to express the spirit. At Emmanuel, music also serves as a vehicle for community building, character formation and outreach.

Chapel Music Ensemble

Students rehearse and perform weekly as singers and instrumentalists at our two Sunday liturgies. The music ranges from classical arrangements to contemporary worship songs.

Community Choir

Members of the faculty and staff, along with students, sing at special liturgies such as the Student Welcome Mass, Mass of the Holy Spirit, Christmas Mass, Holy Thursday and Baccalaureate Mass.

Our Home

At the heart of Emmanuel's campus is the Chapel. The Chapel at Emmanuel is one of Boston's architectural gems. With stunning accoustics, it is also one of the city's prized performance venues for music.
