Each year, Campus Ministry offers a variety of seasonal liturgies and prayer services welcome and inclusive to all, regardless of faith tradition.
Some of the past seasonal liturgies and prayer services offerings have included:
- All Soul’s Day Interfaith Memorial Service to honor the memory of loved ones who had passed, specifically since this time last year. All were invited to light a candle for someone.
- Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service is a time for the entire Emmanuel College community to gather together in gratitude, celebrating the variety of faith traditions present in our community and focusing on the thankfulness for all we are blessed with.
- Orientation Prayer Service is held for in-coming First Year students, so the can begin to know Emmanuel’s campus and community during Summer Orientation. Campus Ministry hosts a prayer service to introduce students to the Mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and Emmanuel’s identity as a faith-based college. At the end of their first day at Orientation, this ecumenical service in the Chapel offers students a chance to pause and reflect on the gifts they bring with them and the gifts they will receive as Emmanuel College students. All are welcome!
