Student Life

Student Life at Emmanuel College

At the core of an Emmanuel education is a commitment to the growth of the whole student: Mind, body and spirit. That's why you'll find a robust campus life and student-centered services focusing on you.

The Emmanuel campus is truly home for our students, with a grassy Quad, residence halls and a variety of dining options—all in the middle of Boston’s bustling Fenway neighborhood.

From College traditions that date back to the very first graduating class, to new events happening every day, there's always something going on on campus.

Starting at Orientation, students get the support and resources they need to navigate the first year of life at Emmanuel academically and socially.

Mission & Ministry encompasses many aspects of the Emmanuel College experience, including Liturgical celebration, spiritual retreats and education.

Volunteer Opportunities

Integral to the Emmanuel mission is a commitment to service: More than 80% of students participate in volunteerism while at the College through a variety of programs.

The Office of Student Affairs provides leadership for all areas of student life, including Student Activities, Residence Life, Athletics, Mission & Ministry and a variety of student services.

The College offers services to promote and provide resources for student wellness through Health Services and the Counseling Center.

Students have access to more than 90 clubs, organizations and activities, with new opportunities to get involved on campus popping up each year.

Through programs and initiatives that celebrate diversity, affirm identity and promote authentic inclusion, students explore issues and create strong connections within the community.

Students become leaders at Emmanuel in many ways—through clubs and organizations, student government, volunteerism—and the College cultivates these skills through a variety of programming.

Emmanuel offers 16 D-III athletics teams for both men and women, with state-of-the-art facilities and an exceptional student-athlete experience.

Sports are for everyone at Emmanuel, where students can participate in club sports at the College and in intramurals through the Colleges of the Fenway.
