Learn more about the process and requirements of applying for Emmanuel's Graduate Programs and Certifications

Business and Management Programs

To be considered for admission into the online MBA program at Emmanuel College, complete the following: 

  • Online application 
  • Two letters of recommendation, professional or academic 
  • cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above is preferred from all previously attended institutions
  • Official transcript from accredited academic institution attended indicated conferral of a bachelor's degree
  • Resume 
  • Admissions essay: 500-word (minimum) including the following: 
    • Identification of educational goals and expectations in seeking the MBA 
    • Description of professional work experience, including any special certifications or awards 
    • An example of how prior experiences will be utilized to make a special contribution to this graduate program and the learning of others
    • The description of a challenging professional situation in which options were critically analyzed, a decision was reached, and leadership was utilized to initiate change 

Please note: Emmanuel alumni need only submit a completed Application form (no fee), resume and official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions attended other than Emmanuel. Emmanuel transcripts will be provided from the Registrar with permission from the applicant.

To be considered for admission into the Graduate Certificate in Business & Management program at Emmanuel College, complete the following: 

  • Online application 
  • Official transcripts from all regionally accredited academic institutions attended 
  • Resume 

Please note: Emmanuel alumni need only submit a completed Application form (no fee), resume and official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions attended other than Emmanuel. Emmanuel transcripts will be provided from the Registrar with permission from the applicant. 

Education Programs

To be considered for admission into the M.Ed. program at Emmanuel College, complete the following: 

  • Online application 
  • Two letters of recommendation, professional or academic 
  • A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above is preferred from all previously attended institutions 
  • Official transcript from accredited academic institution attended indicated conferral of a bachelor's degree
  • Resume 
  • Admissions Essay: 500 words (minimum) addressing your educational goals, potential contributions to the program, your leadership skills, your professional experience and any special certifications 

Please note Emmanuel alumni need only submit a completed Application form (no fee), resume and official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions attended other than Emmanuel. Emmanuel transcripts will be provided from the Registrar with permission from the applicant. 

Nursing Programs

To be considered for admission into the online RN-to-BSN program at Emmanuel College, complete the following: 

  • Online application 
  • Current resume: Candidates must submit a one-page (minimum) resume summarizing all professional work experience and previous education. 
  • Official transcripts from all regionally accredited academic institutions attended 
  • Nursing license: Candidates must provide proof of current Massachusetts RN license from www.mass.gov/dph/boards/rn or eligibility to apply for reciprocity based on other U.S. state licensure 
  • RNs without an associate in nursing degree from accredited college will need to submit two recommendations (one from current supervisor or educator), a 500-word essay including the reason for pursuing the RN-to-BSN degree at Emmanuel and a Massachusetts RN license or eligibility to apply for reciprocity based on other U.S. state licensure. 

Please note: Emmanuel alumni need only submit a completed Application form (no fee), resume and official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions attended other than Emmanuel. Emmanuel transcripts will be provided from the Registrar with permission from the applicant. International transcripts must be translated into English and/or evaluated by a certified credential evaluation service. 

To be considered for admission into the MSN program at Emmanuel College, complete the following: 

  • Online application 
  • Two letters of recommendation, professional or academic 
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (preferred) from all previously attended institutions 
  • Official transcripts from all regionally accredited academic institutions attended. For Master of Science in Nursing applicants, transcripts must show the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited institution. 
  • Nursing license: Candidates must provide proof of current Massachusetts RN license from www.mass.gov/dph/boards/rn or eligibility to apply for reciprocity based on other U.S. state licensure 
  • Resume 
  • Admissions Essay: Candidates must submit a 500-word (minimum) essay addressing the following:  
    • Identification of educational goals and expectations in seeking the graduate degree or certificate of choice 
    • An example of how prior experiences will be utilized to make a special contribution to this graduate program and the learning of others 
    • The description of a challenging professional situation in which options were critically analyzed, a decision was reached, and leadership was utilized to initiate change. 
    • Description of professional work experience including any special certifications 
    • For International student applicants only: Emmanuel requires supplemental materials for all international students including U.S. students living abroad.
