Department Services

The department of campus safety is dedicated to involving the entire Emmanuel College community in creating an environment that is free from crime and disruption. The department meets regularly with students, staff and faculty to discuss relevant topics that impact our neighborhood and community.

When requested, Campus Safety Officers assist in classroom settings with a variety of topics of interest such as forensics and crime scene investigation. Officers also participate in special education programs in conjunction with the offices of student activities and residential life, often involving the Massachusetts State Police, Boston Police and various District Attorney's Offices.  Specialized training or programs can be arranged by contacting the Office of Campus Safety at 617-735-9710.

Some of the training programs conducted by Campus Safety include:

  • Violence Prevention and Response
  • Rape Aggression Defense
