Computer Distribution

Faculty and staff are provided a computer with a recommended four-year replacement cycle.

Computers are purchased and configured to ensure proper operation, performance, and reliability for each employee. Additionally, standard software is installed on each computer (See Includes tab.)

Standard computer configuration is a 14.1" Windows laptop with 27" external monitor. Each laptop comes with a carrying bag and USB mouse. Software provided by default is Microsoft Office, Anti-Virus Software, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox web browsers, and connection to the Emmanuel network.

Requests for equipment outside of our standard configuration is made on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the Director of IT Services and Support.
