Erin Purcell '24: Helping People on their Worst Days
For career inspiration, Erin looked no further than her family of first responders and their calling to “help people on their worst days.”
Dear Members of the Emmanuel College Community,
Since Sister Janet Eisner, SNDdeN, announced her intention to conclude her 43-year tenure as President of Emmanuel College, the Board of Trustees has begun a national search for her successor. This appointment is among the Board’s most important responsibilities, and we are committed to ensuring a search process that is thoughtful, thorough and inclusive.
To advance these aims, the Board has established a Presidential Search Committee comprising individuals from across the Emmanuel College community. The purpose of the committee is to lead and manage the search process and, with the assistance of our consultant partners from AGB Search, to identify, recruit and recommend to the Board the strongest possible candidates for the presidency.
We are pleased to announce the following members of the committee:
Nancy Kleniewski, Ph.D. ’70, Co-Chair of the Search Committee and Trustee; President Emerita, State University of New York at Oneonta
Margaret L. McKenna ’83, Co-Chair of the Search Committee and Chair of Board of Trustees; Senior Advisor, Fidelity Investments
