Emmanuel College’s Graduate & Professional Programs will launch a new online graduate certificate in business analytics beginning in March 2022, responding to the emerging market demand for a deeper understanding of data and data visualization.
“Business analytics is among the most sought competencies in the Greater Boston Area, applicable to every professional sector and an essential study in business programs,” said Associate Dean of the School of Business & Management/Assistant Professor Anne Marie Pasquale, Esq. “Our objective is to equip our students with the essential skills and competencies for today’s workplace.”
The 12-credit standalone certificate can be completed in just seven months. Students enrolled in the certificate program also have the option to apply credit hours to Emmanuel’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a concentration in business analytics.
Graduate students in this four-course certificate will complete a comprehensive, applied study of the current use of analytics within the industry, highlighting application in finance, marketing, and general business settings. Through this coursework offered within Emmanuel’s School of Business & Management, students will cover topics such as business analytics for data consumers, data acquisition and visualization, marketing analytics as well as financial analytics.
As cited by the World Economic Forum, analytics will prove to be the most in-demand business competency in 2022.
“In combining the expertise of the Emmanuel College faculty as well as professionals from Tableau and Amazon Web Services, the new program in business analytics will contribute to graduates’ success in the workplace,” said Pasquale.
Students interested in enrolling in Emmanuel’s new online graduate certificate in business analytics should submit an application by March 4th.
