Classmates will become friends, professors will become mentors and champions, and Emmanuel College will always be a place you can call home. And it all begins at Orientation.

So, what’s next? Well, as you’re about to learn, that’s up to you. Welcome to Emmanuel!

About Orientation

To welcome you into our community, we provide an Orientation program that is designed to make the transition to Emmanuel as seamless as possible for you and your family.

This comprehensive program will include course selection, academic advising, educational sessions and a chance to meet your classmates. It will also provide you with the information you will need to become an active, successful and contributing member of the Emmanuel College community!

Fall Orientation

Orientation for all incoming students that did not attend in June will take place in August. Transfer students will attend a 1-day session, and first year students will attend a 2-day, overnight session. Plan to be on campus for the full one or two days respectively, to register for classes and learn everything you need to know about Emmanuel. Registration for fall orientation should be completed by July 18th.

Students will attend the appropriate orientation session on the following dates:

  • August 29 (for transfer students)
  • August 29 + 30 (for first-year students)

During Orientation, all campus offices will be open (i.e. Residence Life & Housing, Student Financial Services, Admissions, etc.) to answer your questions. You will take a photo for your student ID and will receive this ID when you come back in the fall. All of your meals will be provided while you are on campus, but you may want to bring a small amount of spending money if you wish to purchase any Emmanuel gear from our bookstore. Parking is available for you while you are staying on campus!

Meet Your OLs

When you arrive for Orientation, you will be greeted by student Orientation Leaders (OLs). These students have been selected to welcome you, answer questions and introduce you to Emmanuel's beautiful 17-acre campus and all of the College's student services. OLs come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, including different class years and majors, and participlate in a variet of co-curricular activities.
