Dr. Lisa Walsh is an Assistant Professor at Emmanuel College with responsibilities as chair in the RN-BSN program. She also teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
Dr. Walsh’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing was obtained at Fitchburg State College. Her Master of Science Degree from Walden University was focused on work in patient education and health promotion. The Dissertation work she completed at Endicott College researched the Effect of Peer Role-Play on Empathy Development in Senior Nursing Students.
Dr. Walsh also teaches classes of Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association.
Dr. Walsh is also a member of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island League of Nursing (MARILN), as the Chair of the Poster Committee.
