Dr. Kristine Ruggiero is an Associate Professor at Emmanuel College where she teaches in the BSN program, and a clinician and nurse scientist in the Department of Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Ruggiero along with her husband, a PA, have authored a very popular handbook for Pediatric Primary Care and more recently Dr. Ruggiero wrote a pediatric nursing textbook, Maternal Child Nursing Care 3rd edition, FA Davis.
She is actively involved in the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, the Pediatric Nurse Scientist Collaborative and the American Academy of the Ambulatory Care Nursing for which she serves as part of the ambulatory care Lippincott Procedures Team, writing evidence-based practice information used in hospitals and other healthcare institutions.
