Unfortunately, no. Emmanuel has two degree conferrals per year- the date of the May commencement ceremony and December 31st. Students who do not finish their degree requirements in time for a degree conferral are pushed to the next degree conferral date. Students who finish their coursework over the summer, will have their degrees conferred and be considered officially graduated on December 31st. Diplomas for December graduates will be available to be mailed or picked up in late January. December graduates who plan to attend commencement in May will receive their diploma at the May commencement ceremony when they cross the stage.
Students who finish their requirements over the summer may request in writing, a letter of degree requirement completion from the Office of the Registrar. This letter will verify that all of the requirements for the degree have been fulfilled and the degree will be conferred on December 31st.
