The College is pleased to offer a variety of celebratory events for the Class of 2022 on campus following the conclusion of final exams.

Mon., May 9th Senior Week Mandatory Meeting 4:00 p.m. Jean Yawkey Center

This is a mandatory meeting hosted by the Administration in which we will cover behavioral expectations for the week, hand out tickets, and answer any questions for the Senior Class. If you do not attend the meeting, you will be unable to participate in any Senior Week events and no refunds will be provided.

If you are unable to attend this meeting due to a final exam, please email studentaffairs@emmanuel.edu

Mon., May 9th Howl at the Moon 8 p.m.-12 a.m.

To kick off Senior Week, we will begin with a night at Howl at The Moon! The event will include various appetizers, two drink tickets per person, and a live band. Transportation will not be provided for this event. 

Tues., May 10th Senior Barbecue 5:00-9:00 p.m. Quad A barbecue catered by Bon Appetit on the Quad. Hoagies Ice Cream truck, food, and games!
Wed., May 11th Harbor Cruise 6:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. Spirit of Boston

Take a boat cruise around the Harbor on the Spirit of Boston! Tickets include ppetizers and two drink tickets, and there will also be a cash bar. There is no transportation provided for this event, you must arrive to the Harbor before 6:00 p.m. for boarding.

Thurs., May 12th Commencement Ball 6:00 p.m.-11:45 p.m. Renaissance Hotel

Emmanuel’s Commencement Ball is a formal event that will take place at the Renaissance Hotel located in the Seaport. This event will feature a cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing. Two drink tickets will be provided. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the event, but it is not required to take the buses. You will be required to have a ticket for the buses, though spaces are limited and not guaranteed.

Hosted by the Deans of the College, please join Faculty, Administration and Staff for a champagne toast to celebrate your time at Emmanuel and your transition to the Alumni Association. Members of the Alumni community will be there to celebrate your new life as an Alum!

Fri., May 13th Baccalaureate Mass 2:00 p.m.

Commencement tent

Baccalaureate Mass is a Eucharistic celebration in the Catholic tradition of the College. All graduates and families are welcome to attend regardless of faith denomination. The Baccalaureate Mass will be live-streamed for those family members unable to attend in person.

Nick Eline '23: Perseverance in a Pandemic

For Nadel, the stage is her “second home,” and the community she’s found within Emmanuel’s Theater program, a second family.
