Leveraging the people and places of Boston for inspiration, students in the English Department's "Ethics in Documentary Film" course grapple with the challenges and questions raised by creative work.
To commence is "to begin," or "to start." At the end of their college journey, our students begin a new chapter of their lives, applying the knowledge and values they've learned during their years at Emmanuel—how to be a leader, how to be an ethical decision maker, how to succeed in a diverse and global society.
Commencement is one of the most exciting times of the academic year, if not of a student's entire college journey. The College's ceremony celebrates the achievements of Emmanuel students and honors the accomplishments of distinguished speakers and guests.
