Campus Closures

Decisions to cancel day and evening classes will be made separately. The decision to cancel day classes (classes that end by 4:45 p.m.) will be made by 6:00 a.m. Decisions to cancel evening classes will be made by 3:00 p.m.

Office Closings

The decision to close offices will be made by 6.00 a.m.

To find out if College offices are closed, who should report, and when, please refer to this website or call the Emmanuel College Storm Information Line at 617-264-7795 after 6:00 a.m. If College offices are closed, the message will state the date and any other pertinent information. If there is no message for the day on which you are calling, offices are open. You may also refer to the radio and television stations listed above for College closings.

You are urged to consider your own safety when making a decision regarding travel. If you determine that it is not safe for you to travel when the College is open, please contact your supervisor and discuss making up the time or taking vacation time.
