After more than 40 years as a nurse, I decided to enroll in Emmanuel's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in 2006. I saw it as a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the next step in my career.
My goal is to graduate so that I can eventually teach in the clinical setting. I feel I have had the opportunity to gain so much experience during my career and would love the chance to pass it on. People always tell me I would make a phenomenal teacher. If even one person could take something from my experiences, I would be happy.
I have learned so much throughout my time at Emmanuel. Going back to school was something I always wanted, and it has opened a lot of doors and opportunities. It's something I wish I had done 20 years ago.
