Constance Mele Baldman is moving through widowhood and trying to figure out where she wants to be. She still has no grandchildren! Nov/Dec 2003

Anita D'Amato Cobb is mostly retired and playing lots of golf. She summers in Connecticut and winters in Florida. Nov/Dec 2003

Barbara Lebedzinski Fraterrigo has served on the Guilderland school board since 1997 and the library board since 1988. She is married to Philip and has five children: Philip, Michael, David, Lynn and Keri-Ann. Nov/Dec 2003

Barbara A. Quill Leary has two grandchildren — Rebecca, age three, and Ethan, age one. She is about to retire in York Beach, Maine. Nov/Dec 2003

Marie Pazula Leen has retired from teaching and is currently volunteering for the VNA Hospice and for a local theater group. Nov/Dec 2003

Sr. Maura Browne, SND was elected Justice and Peace Office Coordinator for the Congregation and is a member of the Boston province. Sept/Oct 2003.

Janet O'Donnell Murphy lives in Chicago with her husband Tom. Sept/Oct 2003.

Constance Baldman's third and final son graduated UMass Lowell in June 2002. Her husband Constantine died October 2002. Winter 2003.

Barbara Lebedzinski Fraterrigo was elected to the School Board and is currently serving as Chair of the Communications Committee. She's also President of the Guilderland Public Library Board. Winter 2003.

Gretchen Wescott says the prayers of many earned her granddaughter Allison Hawkers a victory over neuro blastoma. Surgery and two stem cell rescues in the last 18 months. She is now back in third grade, Praise God. Three other healthy grandchildren of hers have kept her on an even keel. Winter 2003.

Catherine E. Costello is currently president of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (2002-2004). She has received several major grants from NIHM 2002, totaling to about 20 million dollars. Winter 2003.

Elaine Felos Ostrander was asked by the Red Sox to design the cover for their book, entitled Fenway Park A-Z, which the wives did to generate money for the Red Sox Foundation Children's Charities. Her 911 painting titled "United We Rise" has generated over $6,000 to benefit NY victims of WTC and has gone worldwide! Winter 2003.

Our condolences to Marybeth Harmon, whose husband Bill died in June 2001. She has three grandchildren: Callahan, Molly and Hannah. She is a Chaplain at Franciscan Children's Hospital in Boston. She was certified in October 2001. Spring 2002

Elaine Felos Ostrander designed the cover of the Boston Red Sox wives' cookbook and recently published a print of a painting that has raised over $6,000 for the WTC Disaster Fund. Elaine owns and operates The Felos Memorial Art Center and the FMAC Gallery at 20 Park St., Stoughton, MA 02012. Spring 2002
