Sheila A. Anzuoni, Esq. has become a competitive ballroom dancer and competed in such events as the Ohio Star Ball, Dancesport Montreal, and the Heritage Classic. She supports Bobby and herself by working as a medical malpractice attorney. Nov/Dec 2003

Barbara Quinn Grasso was named 2003-2004 Teacher of the Year in Bristol, Connecticut. Nov/Dec 2003

Cameron Shea Burton received a Master's Degree in Literacy from Plymouth University and is a reading recovery specialist at the Hoffman Boston School in Arlington, VA. Her daughter, Katherine, graduated with honors in June from George Washington University, obtaining a degree in English. Katherine is working as a technical writer at Computer Sciences Corporation in Washington, DC — for Mom's former classmate, Marya Kaluzynski Pickering! Kathleen Deary Glynn retired in June as director of the Richmond Art Museum in Richmond, Indiana. She was the editor of the "Richmond Art Museum: History and Collection" in 2003, and is now a private art consultant. Sept/Oct 2003.

Ann Hurley is retiring on September 30th as Deputy Commander from the Defense Contract Management Agency in Hartford, CT. Sept/Oct 2003.

Paula Christian's daughter Jennifer married Travis Wright on October 12, 2002. They are now living in Oregon. Winter 2003.

The Connecticut Art Education Association named Barbara J. Grasso the 2002-2003 Outstanding Art Educator for Connecticut. Winter 2003.

Ellen Harris Connell has relocated to Portland, Oregon after completing a Jesuit volunteer Corp service year there with her husband Frank. Winter 2003.

Saranne P. Murray is a partner in the law firm of Shipman: Goodwin LLP, and a member of the firm's management committee. Her focus is labor and employment law. Winter 2003.

Saranne remains close friends with Emmanuel classmate and roommate Ann Pellegiri Seely, also class of 1969. Winter 2003.

Arlene Lee Smith has been married 33 years to Ray Smith, who graduated from MIT in 1969. She has four children: Jenn graduated from Tufts in 1993 and Leanne graduated from BC in 1998. Her other two children, Robert William and Mary, are the coordinators of Watertown Family Network-Grant from DOE to serve all families with young children in Watertown. Winter 2003.

Mary Lou Carter Gentz and her husband Tom have sold their home in Massachusetts and moved to the same Rhode Island beach address her parents had during her college years. Their son is a senior at Union College and their daughter is a sophomore at Connecticut College. Mary Lou would love to hear from her classmates. Spring 2002

Linda Kenny McMillen is living in Narragansett, RI and enjoying a very busy real estate career selling property all over the state. Spring 2002

Marya Kaluzynski Pickering was recently awarded the Eccles Medal by the International Society of Logistics, SOLE, for her achievements in logistics education. Marya is a senior logistician with Computer Sciences Corporation's Advanced Marine Center in Arlington, Virginia. She was previously a professor at the Defense Systems Management College in Virginia. Her daughter, Isabel Marie Anderson, is in the eighth grade at Holy Trinity School in Georgetown. Spring 2002

Nancy Niedermeier Dunning's son Christopher is a sophomore rower at Georgetown University. Her daughter, Elizabeth, a 1999 High Honors graduate of Kenyon College, works in Washington, DC for Neighborhood Reinvestment, a HUD subsidiary. Summer 2001

Jean MacCormack was recommended by University of Massachusetts President William Bulger to be appointed permanent chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth campus. Dr. MacCormack was named Interim Chancellor of the University on September 1, 1999 and previously served as Deputy Chancellor and Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance at the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Summer 2001

Francine Maiorana is teaching Bilingual Special Education on Staten Island. Her son Matthew is attending CSI and is in his second year. Her son Andrew is a freshman at Monsignor Farrell High School and her son Robert is at Community School of Bergen, NJ in the seventh grade. Summer 2001

Mary Marino Murray recently became a grandmother for the first time. Her granddaughter, Olivia Mary Moran, arrived on December 10, 1999 to her daughter Stephanie and son-in-law David. Summer 2001
