Scholarships & Financial Aid

Making education affordable.

At Emmanuel College, we are committed to making our educational opportunities available to all academically-qualified students.

Most financial assistance is based on demonstrated financial need and is intended to help students whose personal and family resources cannot meet the full cost of attending the College. In addition to college grants and scholarships, Emmanuel College students are eligible to apply for federal and state grants, loans and employment opportunities.

Update on Student Loans

As has been reported in the media, The Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) recently announced that it will not be providing private loans to students for the upcoming academic year.

Although this news is disappointing, there are many solid lenders who are committed to providing both federal and private loans to students and parents. These lenders include Chase, Citibank, Sallie Mae and Wachovia. More information regarding these lenders and the loan products they have available may be found on the Loans pages of our site.»

Students and families who have concerns about paying for their Emmanuel education are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Financial Services at (617) 735-9938 or by email at financialservices@emmanuel.edu.

Scholarship Deadlines

The deadlines for applying for Emmanuel scholarships are: January 30, 2009 for first-year students; April 1, 2009 for fall semester transfers; and November 1, 2009 for spring semester transfers.
