Two Letters of Academic Recommendation

Emmanuel College requires two letters of academic recommendation for all applicants. One letter of recommendation should come from a school guidance counselor and one from a secondary school teacher. If your school does not have a guidance counselor, please request a letter from your advisor or school principal. We will make an exception and allow both letters to come from teachers if international students do not have a school guidance counselor or advisor who know them well. Transfer applicants are required to submit at least one of the two recommendation letter from a college professor.

Emmanuel does not have a form letter for recommendation letters. However, all recommendation letters should be on official school letterhead, and must be written in English or translated into English by a certified translator. Students may also submit additional recommendation letters from teacher, employers, or friends that may serve to enhance their application to Emmanuel College.
